Themeforest has an awesome CRM System

If you are running any business these days, it is almost a mandatory requirement to have a CRM. Themeforest has an awesome CRM System called Ultimate Client Manager Pro.

There are many reasons to use a CRM and you may even use one for work or have been looking at getting one for your business but haven’t pulled the trigger. I don’t blame you, I have been working in the online industry for many years and have used over 20 different CRM’s.

Let’s have a look at some of the reasons:

  1. You want to manage your clients / customers personal information.
  2. You want to keep track of orders / sales.
  3. You want to track completed work / projects / jobs.
  4. You want to invoice, estimate and quote.
  5. You want to track customer interactions and history.
  6. You want to track emails with your contacts.
  7. You want to capture leaps and opportunities.
  8. You want to set reminders to do something.
  9. You want to set automatic emails.
  10. You want to create marketing campaigns to existing customers or potential customers.
  11. You want to be able to mine your data for any reason.

If I missed any reason, you probably still need a CRM and Ultimate Client Manager Pro is worth considering for your CRM System and it is exclusive to Themeforest / Code Canyon.

As I am a one-man show for my property services business, I wanted to find and use a CRM that was going to work for me.

My requirement for the CRM

  • Needed to be web based
  • Easy to install and backup
  • Performed:
    • Customer Management
    • Quoting
    • Invoicing
    • Job Tracking
    • Transaction Management
    • File Management

Email was not going to be a problem for me as my business does not have a high amount of direct contacts and so I prefer to use my standard email.

Marketing is also not a problem for me as my business at this stage, and I can always export emails from the platform and use either Mautic or Sendy to manage my email marketing quite easily.

The following table compares both the Ultimate Client Manager Pro version and the Lite version. It’s a good table to check and see if it has the capabilities that you are looking for in a CRM for your business!

      Hi Anis,
It’s important for every business to have a CRM, it depends on the features you need. If your online business does invoicing, then I recommend this CRM ($51 – once off & self-managed) to track everything. However, if your online business is an affiliate marketing model, then you should look into a CRM that is more marketing based to track your customers movement’s instead. I’d recommend checking out Mautic (Free & self-managed) or Infusionsoft (around 2K startup & 300+ monthly & cloud hosted) for this.

I am pretty ignorant about these things. I know quit a bit but nothing much about investments and e-eCommerce. Interesting for sure. I wonder if I would need CRM. I may look further into it. Thank you for the information.

CRM’s are more than just a place to store your customers information these dats. Each CRM has different capabilities, such as accounting, customer management and marketing. But it’s so imperative now to use a CRM as it reduces administration time dramatically and allows you to focus on what is really important to you…growing your business. This CRM is once-off cost, keeps getting lots of new functionality and does a great job for what I need. 🙂

CRM seems to have plenty of tools to be very successful in the internet business, payments through PayPal, tools for email marketing, accounting tools, customers data etc. You do not need to do that all by yourself, everything is in one system. How many customers do you need to have this advantage?

This CRM is quite a low cost, so I would think that you should long term if you are going to make your business work. It’s only $51 and a once-off. Depends on how much work, turnover and revenue your business earns before the admin becomes time consuming. If you are spending 3 hours of time to create invoices, wouldn’t it be better to spend that time setting up your CRM and then taking 5 minutes per invoice for all future invoices? The aim with any CRM is to make admin and communication with your customer easy.
